Rode SC8 Overview

The SC8 Dual-Male TRS Cable from Rode is a shielded extension cable for use with the VideoMicro and VideoMic GO microphones (sold separately). It features gold-plated contacts for better audio reproduction and measures 20' in length and has a 1/8″ TRS mini-jack connector on one end and a right angle 1/8″ TRS mini-jack connector on the other.

I bought this cable for the rode microphone and I am so glad I did. Such a big difference when you have the microphone sitting on top of the camera compared to having it so close to you.
